Kevlar Helmet
The Kevlar Helmet is a head protection found in most of Jagged Alliance videogames.

The second type of head protection found in both games, the Kevlar Helmet offers slightly greater protection than its predecessor, the Steel Helmet.

Jagged Alliance[]
- Can be found inside crates sometimes.
- A few mercs at A.I.M comes with them.
Jagged Alliance 2[]
- Found in various lockers, chests, etc.
- Can be bought through Bobby Ray's website after a few days.
- Can be dropped by mid and high-level enemy soldiers. Those are usually in condition below 90%.
- At least one helmet this type in good condition can be found in each military base, including each SAM Site.

Jagged Alliance[]
- The Kevlar Helmet provies twice as much protection than the basic Helmet and is much rarer. Very good to put on more valuable mercs to prevent major damage and wisdom loss.
- In perfect conditions, it offers a protection of 10%, which drops alongside its condition due to combat.
- Kevlar Helmet can be treated with Compound 17 to improve its protection by 5%, resulting in the Treated Kevlar Helmet

Jagged Alliance 2[]
- Can be treated with Compound 18 for increased protection as a Compound 18 Kevlar Helmet or Royal Jelly for a Coated Kevlar Helmet.
- Helmets dropped by soldiers killed by headshots are often in condition below 60%, especially if the enemy received multiple hits in head. Those should be repaired before they are used by mercs.
Jagged Alliance: Back in Action Variants[]
All the Back in Action kevlar helmets have Armor value of 17, the best in game.
Kevlar Helmet + Goggles[]
A variant introduced in Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. It weights 1,85 kg and costs 3400 $.
Kevlar nightvision helmet[]
Another variant from Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. This one is the heaviest available in the game (2,15 kg) and the most expensive as well (3600 $ per helmet.)
Jagged Alliance Online Variant[]
This variant is labeled as a Level 36 Common-tier item with unknown Durability.
- It provides the following bonuses: Front Protection 5, Side Protection 26, and Rear Protection 26.
