- Offers a protection of 40% when in perfect condition. Defense lowers as it wears down.
- Spectra Shield can be treated with Compound 17 to increase its protection by 20%, resulting in the Trt. Spectra Shield.

- As with all armor, Spectra Vests can be treated with Compound 18 or Royal Jelly to increase its protective strength, resulting in Compound 18 Spectra Vest and Coated Spectra Vest, respectively.
