"Elliot, you idiot!" — Deidranna Reitman
Elliot is a major non-playable character and an antagonist in Jagged Alliance 2. He is Queen Deidranna's personal advisor and delivers her reports about the course of the war. When he has distinctly unfortunate job of delivering bad news, he will be slapped by the Queen; with his appearance slowly degrading with every cutscene.
Elliot also makes a cameo appearance in Jagged Alliance 3.

Story[]

Elliot is the personal advisor of Queen Deidranna Reitman, the ruthless ruler of Arulco. He serves in the country's capital, Meduna, at Her Majesty's palace. Among his duties is to keep the Queen well informed of what happens in her domains. Unfortunately for him, Deidranna is prone to feets of rage and blames the messenger when the news are bad. This leads her to slap Elliot violently.
Ultimately, when Elliot delivers his final news on the mercs’ approach to Meduna, he is shot in the head by Deidranna in a fit of rage. The Queen had sarcasticaly told him to invite the mercenaries for a barbecue, to which Elliot responded as if the offer was serious. Even then, much to the Queen’s dismay, Elliot survives and promises to try harder to die next time.
In spite of this ill treatment, with the numerous slappings and beatings he incurs, Elliot continually remains steadfastly optimistic and fiercely loyal to Deidranna; even under the most extreme of circumstances. He can be later found in a section of Meduna Palace when the mercs arrive. Even in the face of utter defeat, he remains loyal to the Queen and promises the mercs that they will be punished for their intrusion of the palace. When inquired by the mercs about the Queen's whereabouts, Elliot refuses to talk.

Jagged Alliance 3[]
The player can talk to random villages to get intel on The Major being seen in Camp du Crocodile.
Upon arriving to the sector the player finds Elliot impersonating The Major as Maj L. E. Oat. To find out that he is actually Elliot from Arulco the player needs to pass a wisdom check or have a certain mercenary from Jagged Alliance 2 (Monica "Buns" Sondergaard for example).
The player has an option to kill Elliot, let him go or sent to prison. Sending Elliot to prison gives 10 loyalty to Port Cacao.
