The AMT Automag III (called Automag in the game) is a handgun appearing in Jagged Alliance 2. The handgun uses 7.62 NATO rather than the real-life .30 carbine.

"This Automag has been modified into a monster of a pistol which fires 7.62mm NATO rifle rounds. The name "Big Bertha" has been engraved on its sides."

Two Automags are sent by John Kulba after he and his wife have been escorted to the airport of Drassen. This is the only way to get this gun.
Tips & Tricks[]
The Automag is the best pistol available in Jagged Alliance 2. While it still suffers from poor range typical for those weapons, nonetheless using two of them at once can pack a good punch. One pistol of this type can be given to a sniper armed with M-24 as an emergency close-combat weapon.
